Mainly, we associate coffee with the countries of Latin culture, but most of the Scandinavian nations are drinking a lot of coffee. In Sweden, where the coffee is the national drink, people consume an average of 13 -14 kg per inhabitant per year! For comparison, the French consume annually about 6 kg. It may seem that most Italians drink coffee, but nothing further from the truth, this nation consumed just over 5 kg per year per capita.
